Hello -
What a difference a year makes! Your website, AfterSchoolPRO.net experienced a growth in the 'unique visitor count' of 400% from August 2007 to August 2008! We take that as a sign of great encouragement that the site is a useful resource for those involved in afterschool and informal learning.
And just where are our visitors from? While 92% of web visits originate in the US, and slightly over 2% are from Canada, there are also contingents from Australia, UK, Netherlands, and New Zealand that make use of the site on a regular basis.

Welcome to new members of AfterSchoolPRO from Connecticut, Iowa, San Antonio, New York City, Delaware - to name a few cities and states.

The preliminary report from Global Youth Service Day shows what youth can accomplish and is full of good ideas and inspiration.
Harvard Family Research Project has just updated their 2005 report "Measurement Tools for Evaluating Out-of-School Time Programs: An Evaluation Resource". The update was revised "to reflect the many new tools that have become available." Download, no fee.

A new game at The Space Place. The Spitzer Space Telescope has given us many spectacular images of the infrared universe. Stunning spiral galaxies, colorful clouds of glowing gas and dust, star nurseries never seen before. The Spitzer mission team wants to display these beautiful images, so they have given the NASA factory a big order for signs to label their pictures. The player paints the signs by typing the words as the blanks pass by on conveyor belts.
Great for learning about the university in a fun way!
Science for the visually impaired - The Chabot Center (Oakland, CA) has released "Explore It After School! Technology and Science Program for Students with Visual Impairments." Glad to be
